6-inch LR 90 take-off

On tonight’s outage, we had to lay out a 6 in spool for a 02:00 crane pick, and my lead fitter called the LR 90 take-off without a book. For long-radius 90 per B16.9, what’s the center-to-face on 6 in, and bonus — what would it be if it were short-radius — i’m locking this down for tomorrow’s fit-up plan so the crew stays on schedule.

For a 6-inch long-radius 90, you’re looking at 10 inches center-to-face, while the short-radius will drop that down to about 6 inches. I always double-check the B16.9 specs before a big pick like that. Good luck syncing it all with the crane timing at 02:00.
