Tape measure vs. knuckles, round three

Walked into the fab shop at 6:05 and my 25’ tape snapped back so hard it rang off my gloves — PPE did its job, but the language was not OSHA-approved. What everyday tool on your rig has bruised your pride more than your body?

, those tape measures can really pack a punch! I’ve had my fair share of bruised knuckles from them too, but nothing beats the time my hammer fell off the rig and almost took out a knee. Why do these tools always wait for the worst moment to act up? Anyone else ever had a close call with a tool like that?
